The roses survived the winter. All but one that is. RIP Mellow Yellow. Pretty good ratio for my first season if you ask me. I mean it's not like we're talking pets or kids - right?

Here is my Mother's day present that Audrey made at school - what's left of it that is. It was two hershey's kisses wrapped in the fabric. As I'm opening it Audrey is telling me:

"The two candies are for me and Lucy, and I want the hankerchief too, but mommy you can have the spoon."
